Getting on the list today will give you a 3 to 12-month wait depending on your sex and color preferences. I can add you to as many sex and color options as you'd like so you can see which comes up first. When your name comes up, I will contact you to discuss options, and you can choose to stay or bump to the next litter.
ALL PUPPIES COME STARTED WITH OUR PUPPY STARTER PROGRAM. The puppies are free; what you're paying for is the training and early desensitizing. It's $3000, no matter the color or sex. Crate training to sleep through the night is $500 extra and requires an extra week's stay here. The same amount of time, testing, titles, work, training, blood, sweat, tears, and love go into every puppy. Labradors are all the same regardless of coat color. There is a non-refundable deposit of $500 to get on the waiting list. The deposit goes towards your balance.
We put a lot into our puppies. We start them early, much the same way service pups are started. We start training from day one using the Military's Superdog program. These are simple exercises introduced during specific periods of brain development that prepare them for stressful situations later in life. When they start weaning, at around 3 weeks old, we will start luring them into positions with puppy food. This teaches them bite inhibition and how to take a treat gently from my hand. We will introduce horse pellets in trays that they use as a bathroom, like a litter box. This teaches them not to mix clean and dirty. This makes house training much easier for you. While in the nursery, we play desensitizing sounds that include fireworks, gunshots, babies crying, busy streets, parks, and restaurants. Group work starts at 5 weeks, and one-on-one training starts at 6 weeks. By 7 weeks old, they know "sit" with verbal and non-verbal hand commands. They are started on a leash. They know their name and come when called. Families also mail in care packages that consist of t-shirts sealed in a baggy with their new family's scent. We will use them the week before pickup. Their eyes will be up, and I will teach you how to continue what we started on pickup day. Your puppy will never leave our home for training. All training is done here by me and the family, and pups are ready to go home at the normal puppy pickup times, between 7 to 9 weeks of age.
All of our adult dogs are completely health tested through a genetics lab before breeding to ensure healthy puppies. Adults are mouth swabbed and tested for almost 200 different genetic diseases. Hips and elbows are also certified through OFA. We breed for improvement in health, look, and temperament. We do not breed silver to silver. Our Silvers come from standard imported English lines and long-coat carriers that we use to improve our silver population. This, in turn, creates a stockier, more blocky, English-style silver with a proper double coat.
Our dogs are English, American, or a good mix of both, which makes for a calmer demeanor and a great "off" switch. Our males are 80 to 100-plus pounds, and my girls are 60 to 80 lbs. They all live inside as part of the family; no kennels. Puppies will come with all age-appropriate vaccines, including Parvo. They will also be dewormed and microchipped through the AKC with AKC Reunite. AKC Registration papers. Puppy starter packs and goody bags. Lifetime breeder support and lifetime genetic Health Guarantee. If you haven't already, please like and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates, pictures, and videos.
